New Delhi: On Friday, Sunsure Energy said that it has inked power purchase agreements with Pune-based KSB Ltd, a producer of pumps and valves, to provide around one crore units of renewable energy per year for the following 25 years.

It further stated that the open access power supply to KSB Ltd's several Maharashtra plants will meet the company's commitment to using green energy. With the use of clean electricity, KSB Ltd. will be able to offset 221 million kgs of CO2 over the course of the next 25 years, which is the same as planting 3.5 lakh trees.

"The agreement will help us achieve our sustainability goals by offsetting a significant portion of our total CO2 emissions," KSB Ltd. managing director Rajeev Jain stated.
